Grief Counseling

Have you recently gone through a loss that you need help processing?
Perhaps a past loss is coming to the surface now?
Do you feel alone in your grief, as if no one understands?
Grief is a journey unique to each individual. It requires processing feelings and allowing yourself to mourn and accept the loss.
After two years of co-facillitating a bereavement group, and working with several individuals in this area, I have developed a unique approach to helping people through the grief process. Through my in depth work and training, I have come to understand that loss and love are two sides of the same coin, and that we must embrace the loss, as we do the love, in order to heal. Taking on the loss of loved one as a continuation of the relationship -though in a different way- often brings peace and connection. In addition, this delicate connection, which can potentially bring with it the humbling experience of being fully alive, allows us to reevaluate our own lives, and turn pain into a more meaningful experience.
