Couples Counseling

Do you feel dissatisfied in your relationship?

Perhaps your relationship is fine, but you would like to reach a higher level of communication and intimacy?

Are you single and interested in exploring relational issues that cause you to avoid relationships?

If so, you may be a good fit for the type of relational therapy that I practice. Relationships are the context through which are lives exist and unfold. Sometimes, the slightest adjustment or insight can change the way we relate to others and ourselves. I work in a way that allows each member to enhance their relationship with themselves and each other. Through learning about themselves and their needs, people can more effectively communicate their feelings and expectations. In this way, people grow as individuals and as a couple. Through addressing attachment styles and relational themes, we can uncover insight into how the couple is interacting, which is often enough to bring about lasting change.

If you are not currently in a relationship and need help in this area, we can go through the same process of exploration to gain insight into any blocks or blind spots that may be in your way. Developing and enhancing your relationship with yourself through processing feelings and understanding your needs, can be the missing link that opens more space in your relational life.
